Pardon our absense in the blogging sphere! We’re ashamed to admit that our last blog was almost two years ago, so we’ve missed out on sharing so, so many beautiful days as Amber Justine Events flourished around the state of Virginia. During the next few months, you’ll see us dive back into those archives to blog about some of our 2022 to late 2023 weddings that didn’t get a chance to shine (yet), including the Princess Anne Country Club wedding below.

Without further ado, let’s dive farther back in our archives to Sammie and Tyler’s garden chic fête at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach on September 24th, 2022. Their day had some of the most talented local vendors, effortless style, and a clean, yet visually stunning garden-centric design. Not to mention that their friends and family were an absolute blast!

Sammie and Tyler are, for lack of better words, an absolute force of a couple. They are the type of people that you want to be friends with from the second you meet them; they are good-natured, kind, and filled with love for their “people”. To know them is to be a better person and have a bit of extra sunshine in your life. It goes without saying that we were stoked when they booked us after their consultation at Taste!

The father of the bride said it best in his speech: there wasn’t a ton of “crying” that day because there was an abdunace of pure, unfiltered happiness. We couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our faces if we tried. From their First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach ceremony to their epic second line introduction from cocktail hour into their ballroom reception with The Gentlemen And Their Lady (check that out around the 4:30 mark in East and Noble Film’s video above!), their day was as close to wedding perfection as dreams allows.

The white, ivory, and light blue touches for the day were showcased throughout the reception space thanks to the help of The Wandering Petal’s floral vision. Between the tall arrangements highlighted with Blue Steel Lighting’s pin spots, glass compote arrangements, and greenery with blooms trailing the seven main multi-room ballroom chandeliers (along with more of our favorite lighting item – pin spots – to highlight those as well!), the country club’s primary ballrooms were transported into something uniquely different from what they were only 24 hours prior. Rentals, including wall draping, from Big Top Entertainment, Waterford Event Rentals, and Curated Event Rentals filled the ballroom space to create the perfect reception-style dinner and dancing affair.

We’ve said time and time again we’d plan and execute this wedding every single day of our lives. From the Historic Cavalier Hotel rehearsal dinner (have we mentioned that we love being part of the “day before” events?) to the Sand Shark Limo and pom-pom wedding night send-off, this couple and their weekend easily became a classic in our Amber Justine Events memory book.

Between this day and a couple more in 2023 that you’ll see blogged later on (wink wink), we have measured, remeasured, and dreamed up visions for all of the indoor and outdoor spaces at the club countless times.
